Travel with purpose

More than a safari.

Uganda is not just a destination to us. It is home. Turakoli shares its wildlife, landscapes and cultures while respecting the places, animals and communities that make every journey possible.

The Turakoli commitment

1/3

One third of our profits goes back to the community.

We believe tourism should create value beyond the journey itself.

WorldProject is one of the organisations whose projects benefit from this commitment.

The person behind Turakoli

Meet Hakim.

Hakim Miggade's fascination with Uganda's wildlife began early — a book about birds, received as a child, turned curiosity into a lifelong passion.

He went on to study tourism, and in 2020 founded Turakoli to show visitors the Uganda he knows: a living ecosystem and a home shared by people and wildlife.

The wild should remain wild.

A memorable encounter should never come at the expense of the animal.

01

Respect distance

02

Observe natural behaviour

03

Follow park and ranger rules
